Our health checks provide you with an opportunity to track and improve your health. Many conditions are symptomless in the early stages and can be improved with simple lifestyle changes (such as diet changes, supplementation and exercise). Therefore, pinpointing the areas needing improvement can help avoid complications in the future by giving you the knowledge and motivation needed to improve.

Our registered nurse will carry out your chosen health check in one of our clinics at your home or place of work. The findings of the health check will be discussed during your appointment.
Results
A copy of the results will be emailed to you for your records.
If required Haoma can provide a referral letter and a copy of the results to your GP or health professional for a fee of £10.

Health Check Advanced
what's included?
Combining our Health Check Plus and General Heath Blood Test can give you a more detailed view of your health. As part of the Advanced Health Check we analyse 27 biomarkers including Liver Function, Kidney function, Iron levels, muscle, bone and Cholesterol profile, Diabetes (HbA1c)
Duration
The Health Check Advanced should take approximately 60 minutes.

I AM NOT SURE WHAT TEST I NEED?
Please contact us for more information on each of the individual tests. Our registered nurse will discuss your symptoms and individual requirements and discuss the more suitable test or profile for you.
WHAT DOES THE TEST INVOLVE?
A venous sample is taken by our registered nurse which allows for larger sample volumes, quicker turnaround times and less chance of the sample being clotted or haemolysed. The larger volume also means that a much greater range of testing can be done than is possible with a finger prick (capillary) sample.
For those that struggle to give blood or are uneasy about having venous bloods taken then we do offer a wide range of popular tests and smaller profiles which can be taken using finger prick blood sample (capillary) – please ask to see which ones are available.
The sample is then sent via courier the same day to a laboratory in London for analyses.
WHAT HAPPENS WITH MY SAMPLE?
Your sample is sent off the same day via courier service and the laboratory operates 24/7 to enable samples to be processed as soon as they are received.
WHEN WILL I GET RESULTS?
Once the sample arrives at the laboratory the results should be received the next working day. A copy of the results will be emailed to you and ourselves (with your consent).
HOW DO I UNDERSTAND MY RESULTS?
A full report will be received with the results of all the key biomarkers, showing how the results compare with normal reference ranges. All of the test results are reviewed by GPs, who will highlight anything that may need further investigation or follow up with a doctor. With your consent our registered nurse will also have received a copy and can then discuss the outcome of the tests with you and discuss the next steps.
